Pros

- Culture is great. Amazing team. Everyone is bright, works hard, and believes in the product. - Product is growing. - The payments space is challenging. - Leadership is very transparent. - Being apart of PayPal, means great pay and benefits.

Cons

Nothing really. But if I had to pick one, it would be PayPal having a little more reach into Braintree then it did in the past. However overall, Braintree still runs as its own company.

Pros

Being a tech companies, the environment is already a cut-above the average. Even on a bad day, it still feel like we have it "pretty good". Potential for advancement, but not always clear. Internal candidates for new positions definitely don't get any special treatment. Nice office, lots of amenities and lunch is catered in. Super cool to see how few people leave the company, they may change positions, but we're all excited to be with Braintree for a while. Very low average-age, sometimes I find this amusing given the volume of responsibility we have :-P Intelligentsia is their idea of regular coffee, enough said! :-)

Cons

Advancement paths isn't always clear, sometime it feels as though we're quietly encourage to stay in-place just because of a lack of communication. While I get that during the hiring process, internal candidates should be treated equally as external, however I feel that in the initial screening phase, our recruiters should be much more up-front and provide some added updates/insight with internal candidates.

Pros

Really great culture, smart people, interesting problems. They really care about interns and want you to learn a lot, and you get to work on teams with full time developers.

Cons

Honestly can't think of one
