9 different coffee machines and paid meals. standing desks they use slack

Cons

Identity crisis between Venmo/Braintree/PayPal/eBay PayPal implemented their processes and systems which were cumbersome and impractical Lack of communication and transparency from management Their new office space lacks natural light and feels like a maze getting around. No soda, sweets, or any chocolate

Pros

I like that there's no vacation policy and there's a great work/life balance. It's a very fun and social atmosphere. Everything moves at a very fast pace, so there's never a dull moment. Braintree tends to attract great people, so co-workers are typically a pleasure.

Cons

Braintree has some growing pains due to its explosive growth. Developers are treated better than other employees, which can be frustrating. Company typically doesn't promote from within.

Pay is good. That's pretty much the only good thing.

Cons

Everything else. There's no direction at all. You'll be asked to do something new every day and direction will change before you complete what you're currently doing. People pretend like it's a very inclusive company. It's nothing but an old boys club. I feel miserable every single day.
