Pros

The company culture is excellent, there is a significant emphasis on the health and well being of their employees. The internship program is very well established, and interns have the opportunity to work on many different types of projects in very meaningful roles. Intern coordinators do a good job of working with the interns to find projects and locations where they would like to be placed. Brasfield & Gorrie is one of the best general contractors in the business.

Cons

The hours can be very long, which is typical in the construction industry. Employees are required to move where the work is, which can sometimes mean moving often and to places that are less than ideal.

Cons

Frat mentality in certain offices that does not represent company culture. If you don't fit in, you are the first our the door no matter your performance.

At the corporate level there seems to be men and women who care about the lower level employees. good insurance packages, 401K, training. At the end of a job an effort is made to find a place for workers to go to, so their employment may last years.

Cons

To much politics on larger jobs. the average workers do not trust their supervisors in matters like safety, pay, and all around treatment.
