Pros

The people I worked with directly in the office were great and friendly people. The work was enjoyable.

Cons

The company offers the usual corporate style. They brag in the meetings about your office exceeding revenue goals, however if you request a little more money, they act like they do not have the funds.

- Just average starting pay by industry standards I guess would be a pro

Cons

- A very corporate workplace; coworkers hamstringing you, "good 'ol boys" club, work dries up for you if you're just starting out- exacerbated by telecommute/most PM working from home that don't answer their phone. If they do answer, it's of the tone of "why did you call me?" Not helpful. Had the manager I was working for bad mouthing me behind my back to other PMs. Oof, I could go on...

Pros

Many of the regular people are fantastic to work with - deeply committed to their service area. ESOP can be profitable. Prioritizing the growth of the company to keep it from getting acquired.

Cons

The leadersihip of the engineering group is poor, at best. Managing with fear and insecurities, many newbies on the executive team are hyperfocused on unimportant things. HR is a complete mess and legal counsel is focused on becoming besties with other leaders. Weak people management across the board. Has a diversity problem deeply ingrained in the culture. Few women leaders, very few minority leaders (any?) and very little support for it, other than words.
