Pros

The only pro is that the role is remote.

Cons

- No support - Management does not care about employees or patients - Unrealistic expectations - You are somehow micromanaged and left to fend for yourself - Due to admin and documentation responsibilities, work day is closer to 10 hours - Salary is not competitive, especially when considering longer than 8 hour days - Many benefits were striped during my time, it looks like it’s going to continue

Pros

Steady case load, reliable paychecks, internal referrals, great benefits

Cons

40 clients per week, no time for documentation, pay and benefits do not make the caseload worth it

Pros

Mission-Driven Work: Helping expand access to mental health care across underserved populations. Remote Flexibility: Many roles are remote, allowing for work-life balance and location independence.

Cons

Leadership Challenges: The CEO's micromanagement style often leads to inefficiencies, delays, and a lack of trust in team autonomy. Decision-making can feel reactive rather than strategic, creating confusion across departments. Stifled Innovation: Creative solutions and new approaches may be discouraged or dismissed, making it difficult for high-performing individuals to contribute meaningfully. Morale and Culture: The internal culture can feel disjointed, with employees experiencing burnout and disengagement due to unclear priorities and inconsistent communication. Limited Growth: While the company is expanding, upward mobility and role development for existing staff seem like an afterthought rather than a focus. Operations Under Strain: Fast growth without adequate infrastructure makes day-to-day execution chaotic and unnecessarily stressful.
