Pros

Where do I begin, this company truly changed how I viewed BH care. I have 10+ years of experience in healthcare and 8 years in Mental Health & Addiction. I worked for several inpatient programs throughout the state of Florida. The mentality for many for-profit programs is to fill beds first and provide patient care second. Because of this, 3 years ago I was ready to leave the industry. I struggled with my own mental health needs and had lost my parents to addiction at a very young age. I was slowly losing faith in an industry that had originally saved my life. I heard about Brave through an old coworker that also shared the same sentiments about the direction the industry was going. So when she said Brave is doing it differently, I just had to find out for myself. After meeting with the CEO of Brave over coffee; we discussed our backgrounds, purpose in life and how to help as many people as possible through this virtual platform known as Brave Health. Brave allows quick care for patients seeking counseling/therapy, psychiatry (which includes Med Management and MAT treatment) through a zoom-like portal with their provider. It's brilliant, not only because it's ahead of its time but because, here's a program that accepts Medicaid & Medicare -- with a goal to help those who run into barriers such as transportation, disabilities, financial concerns to be seen quickly and conveniently from the comfort of their home. It's been almost 3 years with the company and I am so grateful to Brave for instilling not only hope but growth in my work abilities. With its virtual open door policy and willingness to help people grow within a company, I highly recommend Brave as a new career path. Good luck!

Cons

No complaints. Love the company and what it stands for.

Pros

1. Work life balance 2. Great benefits 3. 4 weeks vacation time (PTO); accrued sick time; 4 paid holidays and 4 floating paid holidays 4. Big opportunity to learn and grow (I started as an assessor, then as an associate therapist as a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern, and then became a therapist once my license came through!). 5. Good support from immediate supervisors

Cons

1. There are constant changes without enough training (however, they do give you time for the "learning curve") 2. Case loads for therapists can be extensive if you can't manage time wisely during sessions.

Pros

Remote and the company provides the equipment. PTO. The clients are great to work with , best part of the job .

Cons

No raise In sight. You will be micromanaged and made to feel like you cannot do anything right. You will burn out. I honestly am leaving therapy and mental health for now and looking into another career. You end the day feeling so drained and questioning your abilities as a therapist.
