Pros

-Smart, intellectually curious people who challenge the status quo and want what's in the best interest of the company -Plenty of opportunity to take on challenging projects and further your skills and knowledge within your specific area of expertise -Amazing culture with programming and events that really help boost morale and team cohesiveness

Cons

-There needs to be some more structure and process in place, but the team is actually already working on it! -Cross-team collaboration is a challenge between certain groups and is vital for long-term success -Some employees are too focused on minor issues like the snack offering or daily lunch menu when they should be concerned with continuous business and self improvement, learning and development, etc.

Pros

I'm constantly impressed by the talented and intelligent people working here. People team that is clearly trying hard to make Braze great. Great perks - free lunch, tons of snack, and drinks. Pretty flexible with vacation days, and you're not expected to be online when on vacation.

Cons

- Cross-team collaboration is almost non existent. - There's a lack of processes within teams. - Lack of communication within teams. - Managers who don't know how to manage - I was only told at a performance review in January that they felt my performance was subpar since October. - A lot of work is given, with a lack of regard to the amount of time that is needed to complete the work to the level that is expected. - Salary is on the lower end, although still within what's reasonable. - I've been asked how I want to grow, and then given tasks that don't line up with that has been discussed. - A lot of people have been fired recently. Some that were not deserving of it.

Pros

After 2 years of working for this company, I continue to find every day mentally engaging and I feel extremely lucky that Braze continues to support me in my growth. A great product and culture is at the core of employee satisfaction and I can see myself here for years to come.

Cons

Client facing roles can be demanding, as with all companies.
