      Pros

      The Braze product is super interesting to work with and you're really on the front lines of understanding how the product works since in this role you work with clients on how to unlock custom / advance use cases with Braze's technology and provide guidance how to implement different messaging channels from a technical perspective. I fully feel supported from my manager and team to do my job, but also have a lot of autonomy in my role. Everyone is so great to work with and I truly enjoy all of my colleagues. One of the other things I appreciate is I feel like people really respect work life boundaries as long as you're getting the work done. It's one of the first times I felt more like I was being treated just like another human vs. strictly an employee.

      Cons

      There's definitely some scrappiness needed because sometimes information / knowledge isn't always centralized, although that is something that Braze is definitely working towards improving

      -Braze is at the leading edge of customer engagement. If you want to come work at a disruptive Software organization that is growing very fast and changing how brands and consumers interact, this is the place for you. -Management knows what they are doing. Our founders have a strong vision and the ability to execute. This is borne out in our results. We've achieved tremendous growth in customers and revenue, and a feeling of optimism pervades the entire Company. Our finance organization has also been strengthened with the addition of first-class, experienced people who can lead us through our next steps in our company journey. -While Braze has grown significantly, there is still much opportunity for new employees as we expand with our addressable market; Braze is an excellent Braze to come learn and grow. -The Company has a strong culture. Management and the People Team work hard to cultivate an environment that is welcoming and inclusive. Swag abounds, and it's much appreciated. -Braze is full of good, positive people. Everyone is friendly and helpful. People are open and motivated. People care. Everyone is rowing the boat in the same direction, with the same goals. I cannot say the same for previous employers.

      Cons

      -Since the Company is growing so rapidly, everyone is busy, and finding the proper work/life balance can be challenge; it's no one's fault, it's just a symptom of such a fast paced, growing organization. -There's much political and social conversation, some of which may impact team members. Some would prefer to focus on their jobs without that commentary from the organization.

      very cliquish... there are people who have been there for a while who don't go out of their way to work with and mentor the new people... this is team specific... there are two sides to a single coin - technology...devops is more like sysadmin, SREs are....I don't know - not traditional SREs. SW Engineers seem okay. Product and Marketing side are very cordial, and well, what you would expect from product marketing and sales
