- Collaborative work that allows for new consultants to learn the ropes - Decent work life balance

Cons

- Rounds of layoffs becoming more common as the firm over-hired and cut experienced employees in favor of newer, cheaper associates - Project staffing is completely out of your control and you will be shuffled around on forecasts leaving you confused as to how much upcoming utilization you actually have - Managers do not do a great job of advocating for junior resources - Sales team over promises to client and leaves project team to take the fall for out of scope expectations - Recent mass exodus of employees finding better opportunities elsewhere reflective of a downturn in quality of work

Compensation was based on the variable amount of work performed for clients, leading to inconsistent paychecks from week to week and month to month. Slowdowns or lost clients resulted in low wages during those periods. The micromanagement of employee schedules led to reduced trust in management and increased employee frustration. If you're looking for a 3-6 month contract while you search for your dream job, this place might work for you. However, if you’re seeking a career with opportunities for upward growth in a firm, you should look elsewhere.

Projects were good with learning opportunities. Great clients.

Cons

You get whatever project they want you on rather than what’s a match. So. You might meet expectations but you might not. Fortunately, clients don’t blame the consultant when that happens.
