      Pros

      Most employees are deeply committed to their work and genuinely want to make a difference. Leave pool time is substantial and begins accruing at hire.

      Cons

      Budget issues are the biggest "con." The bottom line is that the Brien Center does not pay well, with some masters level clinicians making less than $16/hr. Health care options are extraordinarily expensive, particularly family plans.

      You know everyone, lots of vacation time.

      Cons

      Pay crappy overall, little room for advancement since upper management has been there since the dawn of time. Union strife.
