Pros

-supportive, hands-on management group and excellent CEO -career advancement opportunities - work hard in your current position and talk with your manager to express career goals and advancement within the company is definitely possible -profitable company with quarterly CASH bonuses (no equity, which is a breath of fresh air for Silicon Valley!) -just the right amount of bureaucracy - a fast-paced, growing company, but employees concerns are always addressed promptly by management (ANY employee can go directly into the CEO’s office and know there won’t be repercussions, all the way from the ground-up) -work/life balance is definitely respected here, especially as compared to most companies in Silicon Valley. -interesting projects where the entire team delves in to create results -very cool product and fun people to work with

Cons

Nothing....it seriously does not get better than BrightSign in the Bay Area! Work will always be work, but it has been much more enjoyable to work at BrightSign than any other company I’ve worked for.

Pros

+ Very Efficiently run company + Amazing Sales Staff + Top Software & Hardware Engineers + Great work environment with friendly employees + Good benefits and above market compensation It's great working some place where there's no shortage of problem solvers. Since it's a smaller company, it's easy to see how your contribution is helping, and also to see that you're being heard. Management does a thorough job of communicating company goals and progress as well as explaining the reasoning behind various decisions.

Cons

I can't think of any worth mentioning currently.
