Pros

BrightSign has been able to attract and hire some very talented, smart and no-nonsense employees. This allows us to operate at a very rapid pace without a lot of drama or finger pointing if things go awry. We have also been able to grow the company at an optimal pace to balance expenses with earnings without a lot of external influences, which is quite rare in any company. I've worked for a lot of very cool companies in Silicon Valley and I have to say this is the coolest of them all.

Cons

I'm really having a hard time coming up with a list of cons that don't relate to my Advice to Management comments below. This is a pretty good sign.

Pros

Smart people that are good at what they do. Everyone is friendly and interesting. free snacks, and drinks, and bagels on Fridays. Great HR department. Pet friendly.

Cons

Small company so sometimes it's hard to find the right person to answer specific questions. A lot of people do a lot of different things and some roles aren't well defined and training is limited.

Pros

-vacation policy is "unlimited" so you can take as much vacation as you need, as long as you get your work done. -laid back but hard working atmosphere, no drama, everyone is approachable -free food, and bagels every Friday -revenue is always up; BrightSign is constantly expanding -profit sharing bonus every quarter

Cons

-little to no guidance from supervisors with regards to personal growth in the company -no regular performance reviews -typical small business growing pains (procedures always evolving changing, in some cases no procedures in place at all) -No team building meetings/activities -pay is not up to the median for many of the positions
