Pros

We've held strong and profitable throughout the COVID-19 shut down and there were zero layoffs due to COVID.

Cons

We are a relatively small but fast moving company with TONS of interest from partners on all fronts, so people sometimes work long hours.

Pros

Brightsign has a flexible time off policy and they cover the majority of insurance costs.

Cons

In my time with BrightSign it has become apparent that upper management does not care about their employees. Upper management will talk poorly about their employees to other lower level employees as well as other upper management. Employees are given unlimited time off but docked on the employee review for taking too much time off even though it was approved. There is also no growth available, headcount is not increasing thus no room for current employee growth; this results in a very high turnover for employees that are in the beginning of their career. Employees are also underpaid; this is due to profit sharing. Profit sharing is considered as part of your salary but is not always guaranteed to be paid out. With out the pay out of profit sharing execs think this is just a bonus, but for many employees it is required to pay bills. Unfortunately, it does not seem like the exec team realizes this and it is hard to get a base salary raise.

Pros

regular paychecks, snacks in kitchen

Cons

- no processes, always in rush - bad planning and entire managerial layer - profit share as a comp is fake in reality - no career growth opportunity - racist and gender harassment ignored by management
