      Pros

      The clients you work with are really nice and you learn a lot working with them.

      Cons

      Everything else! Especially management the management staff. They tell you all these things in orientation and you can pick up hours. They are lying! I transferred from out of state to Evansville and they are ran just as bad.

      Pros

      Being able to make a difference in the lives of the developmentally disabled consumers that we serve.

      Cons

      Sub-standard wages, with no raises in over 8 years. While the cost of living has sky-rocketed, ResCare has not provided it's employees even a cost of living raise in over 8 years. Upper management has a tendency to show favoritism to certain departments over others and tends to ignore major issues that arise, by 'brushing them under the rug.' Unable to recruit quality, dependable, reliable and qualified employees, due to poor wages and no opportunity for raises.
