Pros

-I met some really cool people in training and in-office -Pay was good (because I slaved my soul away and made over-time) (I now make the exact same with a much more normal job and better culture and work life balance with 0 overtime)

Cons

Job seekers considering a job here: I beg you to please message someone on LinkedIn who has worked here (preferably for a short time, and you have plentyyy of options) to see what the culture is like here. I say this because there are certain people who can do this role, but it's one in a million. Here is why -Do you like every little thing you do to be scrutinized and picked over, almost "big brother" mentality? -Do you want a place of work where they could literally care less about you? Your physical and mental health? -Do you want to be stressed out every second of every single day? (At the grocery store, being with family?) -Do you want to call the exact same people every single day using un-ethical practices? -Can you imagine holding in your pee or not filling up your water all day because you fear to leave your desk? -Can you imagine working 60-80 hours in one singular week?

Pros

-they will pay you for the work you put in (i'm not longer an hourly employee, but they will pay you overtime which is unheard of in the industry and speaks to how much they value your time/effort) -the pay is great along all of the roles i've been in compared to my friends in similar roles (SDR, AE, AE Manager) -excellent opportunity for promotion (I started as an SDR, then became an AE, Now am an AE Manager) b/c I produced. Period. -There is a lot of rigidness in terms of their sales process, but I view that as a positive. It's like being drafted to the Patriots. You buy in, you will win and close business. -The atmosphere in the office is phenomenal. I truly enjoy my day-to-day (mostly ;) ) and get along very well with all of my fellow colleagues -If you work your butt off, and desire to be great, you will be great. -A consistent flow of opps coming in from a very active SDR team makes for an easier job focusing on closing business for the AE's

Cons

-sometimes it feels as though things are rolled out from the top-down, and there isn't much thought given to how things will be responded to. There should be a little bit more thought to how things are rolled out as it feels short-sighted at times. -The SDR organizations seems to be having some issues currently (hasn't always been like this) understanidng the big picture (IE - you ship opps, those opps can turn into closed business & the SDR role is a precursor to being a successful AE)

Pros

It pays the bills. Expensed trip to California HQ boot camp. It shows you what an unhealthy work environment looks like so that you can appreciate great companies you work for in the future.

Cons

Everything stated in the previous negative reviews is true. I hope that this review will be enough to help those entering the workforce make an informed decision. It’s hard being in sales - it’s even worse when it’s here. As a consistently recognized top performer across teams I’ve worked with, to say that BrightEdge almost made me RECONSIDER MY CAREER path is an understatement. Whether you do well or not here doesn’t define how successful you will be in your next role. Hopefully this is enough and you’ll read the previous reviewers here and get the picture before you make a poor decision like we did.
