Pros

Learned about Fraud Prevention, a fascinating industry. This is a great long-term career sector and the company is arguably a good place to start for recent college grads that haven't been able to find work anywhere else. The Dr. also sponsors work visas so that's a Pro for foreigners looking to work in the US.

Cons

Atrocious work culture. This is a company run iron-fisted by a madman. He has 3-4 chief lieutenants and the rest of the staff are little more than slaves. I witnessed several times the behavior of the CEO in front of potential new customers and it was shocking. It's no surprise that so many of Brighterion's competitors were founded, grown, and sold in half the time this company has been in existence. PS: it is a well known fact that all positive reviews on Glass Door for Brighterion are written by the CEO and posted by employees on his orders.

Pros

There's really nothing I can say that is positive.

Cons

Akli Adjaoute is rude, pompous and belligerent. It couldn't be just me or a clash of cultural issues because there's a lot of people with the same negative opinion of him. Even if it were a cultural thing it's no excuse to how he treated me. He lied to me about everything: technology, customers, prospective customers, on and on it went about how great they were. He lied about pay as well. A real winner.

Pros

The company is constantly growing and evolving. Benefits such as weekly lunches, gym memberships, snacks/drinks, 401k plans show that the company is committed to the employees' happiness and well-being. The startup environment encourages employees to be collaborative. Ideas are always welcomed and taken into consideration. Commitment and hard work is rewarded. The company is recognized as one of the leaders in the industry, leading to many opportunities for growth.

Cons

Occasionally during periods of multiple deadlines, it can be stressful. However, that can be expected at any company. Longer work hours can also be expected during these times.
