The feel good brand and messaging will get you pumped and hopefully keep you positive for year 1 but disappointment then sets in as your performance and value will receive praise but little other reward.
As one of the other few reviews with meaningful content mentioned, the way you are actually treated and valued is often different than what you would expect from the major branding efforts. (There are many reviews on here who’s positivity is only matched by their brevity. I don’t know exactly why. )
The shine comes off as you start to see how the sausage is made with in house ingredients and complete lack of work/life balance. The immense amount of lip service to caring about you, clients and community may grate with your actual treatment and capacity to service an excessive client load. Even the oft hyped Africa house sat empty pre-COVID.
LAs that leave get lawsuits and clients get subpoenas. Another sign that the nice guy image belies bare knuckle business practices. Some clients have said it in a much less sugar coated way.
