Pros

I have worked in many mental health companies and there is nothing like Brightside. The platform is evidence-based; they REALLY care about their clients needs, and they are very ethical in their practice. The CEO is the most supportive and connected executive I have worked with. Everyone on the team is genuinely happy to be here. Turnover is slim to none. Rather than this company just being a "company", they have so much heart and passion for the mental health community and that is always their priority. It's remote, you can make whatever schedule you want, and there is no micromanaging.

Cons

None as of yet!! Fantastic.

Pros

Respectful and welcoming culture Flexible and connected remote-first culture Foundations of product and data infrastructure thoughtfully laid out and documented - easy to get right to work Lots of green space for analytics and innovation New ideas are welcomed, debated with data and often given an opportunity to be tested Compelling patient outcomes data and leadership that cares about that Exciting growth space to be in with a differentiated offering

Cons

The mental health/telehealth space is rapidly growing and changing - and, at a startup, that translates into there being a lot to do and no shortage of ambiguity in how to do it. This can either sound like an exciting opportunity to be a creative and self-driven problem solver or an unnerving prospect. Flexibility and versatility required - people often wear a few different hats and priorities can shift quickly.

We love all the new ideas our team brings to the table and are truly thankful for our team is ok with a little ambiguity as we grow together and fill an unmet need in the mental healthcare space. You're a huge piece in making this teamwork, thank you so much!

Pros

The whole team is super smart. We work on something that literally changes people's lives. High standards in engineering. Flexible enough to work when and where you work best.

Cons

If you don't like working at high growth startups, then this might not be the one for you.
