Pros

My sales manager was the best manager I’ve ever had. (Unfortunately he is not there anymore).

Cons

Worst systems I have ever worked with. We had bad systems, Brightspeed created all there own systems that are even worse. Took me over 60 days to enter 30+ orders for one of their largest companies. The worst part is, other than my sales manager, no one above him cared. Training was a complete waste of time, most of the training time was spent on kahoots. Leadership at the top was happy with a Net Promoter Score in the teens, because it was similar to the competition. Sums up the whole company, happy with mediocrity.

Pros

Working remote is great along with Flex-Time.

Cons

Working for a private equity backed company, there's a lot of leadership changes. Most of leadership are ex-Verizon execs and/or most teams came from Lumen... therefore innovation and new ideas aren't really accepted. It's more of the same, just under a different company name. Lots of politics to navigate. Once you believe you have a handle on things and you're hopeful, the rug get pulled and you have to get back up and try to get your footing again.

Pros

It is a start-up company so you get an opportunity to build things from the scratch.

Cons

Because the company is a startup, some people are incredibly ambitious about climbing the corporate ladder. So there is back-stabbing, lying, and so much politics involved.
