Pros

Management communicates well goals and tasks. Even for a new start up architecture is formulated well. And directions and migrations are coming together.

Cons

Start up day3 so to speak, so changes / cut over to new are still happening and can keep us busy. (good thing I think)

Pros

People matter. It's not a slogan, it's not just words. Our senior leadership and localized leadership demonstrate daily how our employees matter. Coming from another telecom, it was considered normal (and expected) to put in 70-80 hours per week. I'm not saying we all only work 40 hours every week now, but for me at least, it's more of a pride in my work. I no longer feel guilty only working 8 hours a day :) We are also work from home, plus there is flexibility for me to get my children where they need to school every morning without worrying that I might "get in trouble." There is a deep sense of community. Everyone wants everyone and the company to succeed - I've yet to come across anyone who wouldn't help me or anyone on my team. A lot of "we" and very little "me."

Cons

New company, there are still lots of processes to work out.

Pros

Exceptional culture- the leadership team really cares and demonstrates it. Pay- market or above market with a shared plan HQ in Charlotte is gorgeous

Cons

Being remote/ dispersed can get in the way of really connecting with one another. Systems from former companies are really complex and although we are trying to unwind, it can be challenging. Not as diverse as it could be- but progress is being made.
