Pros

Over all, a so-so. Fun coworkers, wonderful residents. Paid time off accumulated relatively quickly. LOTS of free food that was left over from events. Original Business Office Manager and Executive Director were amazing

Cons

Evening shift was ridiculously hard to do, as time went on. Not enough. Seriously under appreciated. Little to no room for promotion. Horrible amount of drama/gossip. New directors and some old that don't know how to run things

Pros

Having worked for several organizations in the past, I can honestly say that Brightview Senior Living is one of the best. In it's goal to provide the best possible living environment for its residents, Brightview sets the stage by providing beautiful communities, activities to stimulate a wide variety of resident interests, and by screening for and hiring excellent associates who genuinely care for seniors. I am impressed with the manager of my department and community, and believe that they sincerely care about creating an environment that allow both residents and associates to thrive. Brightview has good benefits, offers excellent training to new hires and has provides ongoing in-service training. Employee feedback on improving community operations is encouraged.

Cons

I came to Brightview from a non-senior living/healthcare environment where salaries were much higher than at Brightview, and while my salary is adequate for my needs at this time, I find salaries for most support staff to be rather low for dedicated staff who are working long hours to support families and try to get ahead.

Pros

Positive work environment for associates. Management respects work life balance for associates. While I haven't met everyone at all the locations, those I have met have been great and I have wonderful co-workers at my location. This company lives and breathes it's mission statement, which is a very good thing. They offer a nice benefits package.

Cons

Not really a lot of cons to list, but in certain positions there is not a lot of opportunity for growth.
