Pros

At my location, it's very easy to negotiate schedule changes w my boss.

Cons

Managers often tend to give special treatment to certain residents and it becomes a luxury the residents become comfortable with and then they expect certain accommodations that are simply impossible. To be good at the job, you have to be very patient because many of the residents are very demanding.

Pros

My position here at Brightview is actually my first job. I started out as a volunteer, then moved to Vibrant Living, and now am currently in their Health & Wellness Department. I absolutely love what I do! The staff here is friendly and helpful and the directors are involved in the care of our residents as well. Residents are never bored there is always something fun and exciting for them to try! I think that is one of the reasons I love my job so much. Knowing these people are treated with love and kindness makes me so happy. Their lives, whether they are part of our independent living, assisted living, or memory care, are always important and valued.

Cons

I have no complaints! My job is great and I look forward to coming to work!

Pros

Nothing to say about my very disappointing experience. Wasted my time.

Cons

Totally duplicitous managers. Wolves in sheeps clothing. Most unhelpful training I have ever been involved in. Was fired before I had a chance to prove myself (4 days) Thrown out the door in five minutes without a chance to speak for myself. Never gave me a real chance. I went through hoops to get approved and for nothing. They want you to treat the residents and peers with caring and respect and they treated me with no respect. Most senior organizations are the same in this respect. What a complete waste of my time. Don't waste your time.
