      Pros

      Nice stock performance Good place to work for if you are lucky and got a good manager and project.

      Cons

      Difficult to move around in the organization. Management gives confusing guidelines. Some level of micro management still happening. Corporate is starting to squeeze bottom line. Good for stock, bad for employees.

      Pros

      Great starting position for students, good pay, cafeteria and proximity to UCI.

      Cons

      Constantly overworked when managers and co-workers should understand school is more of a priority. No structure to internship program. Work easily over-exceeds what can be done in workday yet work is expected to be done immediately.

      Pros

      The group I work in is filled with top-notch engineers. You can always learn something from someone. Not a sweatshop... great support from management to get work done in a timely manner. Good balance between life/work.

      Cons

      I work in a group that writes network drivers. The work is dictated by Broadcom's customers so there really is no innovation that occurs. Management is horrible at exposing roadmaps and intra/inter-group communication essentially is non-existent.
