Pros

Learn a great deal about securities processing and clearing. If you are a good employee there is job security.

Cons

Little to no room for advancement within company. Company pays salaries below market value.

Pros

Competitive salaries, bonus plans and benefits. Associates are high-quality, friendly and work well as a team.

Cons

"Work-life balance" is just a meaningless phrase to upper management. Quarterly reduction of staff for the past few years has left an environment equivalent to a sweat shop. People are expected to work 12-14 hour days, 6 days/wk "as the new norm", burnout is inevitable leading to rising employee dissatisfaction and turnover.
