Pros

They have access to government civil service temporary contracts.

Cons

Low pay; Very little interest in progressing temps; Only interested in satisfying their clients' needs; They even end assignments for temps via a text message; Inexperienced/immature permanent support staff who can be quite abusive towards the temps; Will do their best not to pay out your accrued holiday.

I am sorry to hear that your experience didn't match your expectations. If there are any outstanding payroll issues, I'd advise you contact your local branch as they are your first point of contact. Many thanks for your feedback.

Pros

Market rate salary. Some nice people in the team who got unfortunate to get sucked into the cult like mentality.

Cons

All happy and bubbly from day 1, encouraging new ideas and approaches to the business. However a month down the line the pressure starts, and you realize that the culture is cult like - you either hit your targets or you'll be micro managed. Brook Street management cares about the amount of money they make, but they don't really care about the people - on your agenda there is always just numbers to hit and think in the way of "how much money can this candidate make me". Hard/Cold sales approach looking for new business is 95% of the job. If you thrive under high pressure, love to use your sexuality to sell and up-sell and can be fake bubbly you'll enjoy working with Brook Street.
