Pros

At least I said what I wanted

Cons

It takes ages for them to respond/reply. When finally it's done and you're ready to work they can't take you on board because you're not allowed because o be exempt from face covering(despite of health issues) that's the way it is in the place they represent. It's against the law, Human rights and it's disgusting. That say we know but we can't do nothing about that. Just wow. If your client rape or murder you'll be also we can't do nothing about that even if us disgraceful and against law. You should be banned forever

A lot of work for little pay

Pros

A lot of focus of bringing people from branches all over the country together

Cons

They expect you to do a lot of work for very little pay since the pandemic started. I believe they are working to restructure so it the work evens out a bit more, but at the minute there is no work life balance. There are the usual vapid corporate attempts to “improve mental health” but they will do everything except give you more money or make you work life balance better

Pros

Will know to AVOID in the future!

Cons

Absolutely disgraceful agency! Never came across anything like it. I have used many agencies before this but with no issues. Discriminatory practices where unwilling to facilitate any reasonable adjustments, especially for Mental Health. After telephone interview took place was left in limbo for over a month with no email correspondence to confirm job offer. Received text messages from the original person from the Head Office, who interviewed me as she refused to pick up her phone? She used Covid as an excuse for texting in an unprofessional manner. It’s only when I googled the job role that I was able to seek out the nominated person, from the local branch, for the job role. Once started in the role, discovered there was no job security whatsoever. This was both for the length of the job and the daily duties as well. Was told by the employer, who was a government body, that they cannot tell me what the job involves because it’s a secret and they would have to take it day by day?! No contact from the agency after handed in notice. Did not even receive a courtesy email to acknowledge my resignation but still received chain emails from their email address. Wrong leaving date put on P45 in spite. Unprofessional and would not recommend. What a waste of time! HMRC were helpful in swiftly arranging collection of IT equipment. That is the only positive I can say about HMRC.
