2 Years at Brooksource…Not great, I’d look elsewhere

Good training, throw great parties, cool HQ building

Cons

They micromanage, they put you on action plans when you don’t need them but come up with a reason, they require you to come onsite because they know it’s miserable to only work on 1 project at a time from home, the same people (tenured) go on trips every single year while the young grinders stay back and barely pay bills due to the very low salaries/comp plan (because again, the owner throws sick parties and overpaid on a HQ building), the company will hire 15+ per class and lose half the group within 2 months, favorites are picked whether you like it or not, your Manager is probably teams’ing bad things about you, your friends will get fired and walked out the same morning (however they’ve never laid a single person off in 24 years.)

Snacks, company outings, potential for high income if you are willing to give up a lot.

Cons

Brooksource is a company that is extremely exclusionary to any people of color or minority culture or LGBTQ+. There are explicit discriminatory comments thrown around the office as well as at company trainings.

If you really need a job, and are offered one with Brooksource at short notice take it. But keep on looking !

Cons

Very limited, expensive benefits Paid time off is limited and can only take it in whole days Brooksource is not accustomed to clients with very long contracts (years at a time); so they treat their employees as they have always done --as a body . No annual reviews, bonuses or rate increases
