Pros

If you really need a job, and are offered one with Brooksource at short notice take it. But keep on looking !

Cons

Very limited, expensive benefits Paid time off is limited and can only take it in whole days Brooksource is not accustomed to clients with very long contracts (years at a time); so they treat their employees as they have always done --as a body . No annual reviews, bonuses or rate increases

Pros

None really. I only took this job because I didn't know any better and it was the first offer I got out of college. I would NEVER do this to myself again.

Cons

If you have ANY other options on the table besides this one, take it! Do not subject yourself to this kind of treatment from a company! These kinds of contracting companies are as close to a scam as I've ever gotten. You're hired for a pay that's way below what you would get anywhere else in the industry (I was about 20K below market value with them), and it's all done with a promise of "it's only for a few months and then you'll get a contract with the company". I've gotten multiple recognitions from the company, so I know I was doing a good job, and yet my contractor contract just kept getting extended. No full time offer I was promised. During this time, I was offered criminal benefits that are just there to meet the bare minimum, had ppl that knew little to nothing about my role assign me technical training that was an absolute waste of time, and I found out that if the company I was contracted to wanted to hire me full time, then they'd have to "buy" me from Brooksource for an amount that was pretty ridiculous that I guess it makes sense they decided to just keep all their contractors as contractors. I have a normal full time job now and the difference is insane. I would never go back to something like this again. If worse comes to worse, I'll work as a waiter in a restaurant

Pros

Great culture if you think partying and blacking out and WASTING money on lavish parties for minimal promotions instead of giving employees a fair salary is fun. LOTS of drinking on the job

Cons

-Basically a college scene. My office used to bribe us in meetings with alcohol -extremely cliquey -lie about advancement -make you stay until EXACTLY 5pm even if your work is done -basically a data entry job -CEO is very touchy on the newbie night -DM’s are hardly ever fit to lead. It’s based on profit they produce not actual leadership skills
