Pros

This company invests a lot of time and money into their employees for professional development and growth. They give you the tools to become very successful as well as giving you the chance to advance within the company in multiple directions. The culture has exceeded expectations. I didn't think I would find a group of people I would become this close to in a professional setting.

Cons

Some of the cons would be the industry that we are in, not the company. IT recruiting can be very difficult. However, I can promise that it won't be this company that you would want to leave, it would be just because of the industry we are in.

Pros

Brooksource has an unbeatable company culture. I couldn't be happier with the people I work with--company-wide, not just office-wide. It is a very collaborative environment and there is always someone there willing to help and mentor new employees. You will get as much out of Brooksource as you put into it. If money is your motivator, you have uncapped commission. Brooksource also sets their employees up to succeed. We have a strong training program that gets better and better with each class. They also let you create your own path within the company! I couldn't be more satisfied with my first job out of college. We are a smaller IT staffing firm and therefore I think it's easier for us to retain our employees due to lots of interaction with all levels of staff, including the most senior/upper management and first year recruiters. Brooksource wants longevity in their employees time here. We are very goal-oriented as well.

Cons

Contrary to what some may think, the IT staffing industry is not an "easy job out of college." It is competitive and can absolutely get frustrating at times when things don't go your way. It's the nature of the business--some things you just can't control. If you aren't competitive and don't have the drive to work hard and succeed, it is not the industry for you. However, if you are, like I said before, the sky is the limit when it comes to compensation and getting rewarded for hard work! You can manage an entire office by the time you are 25 years old if you really want that. Just have to be driven to succeed and hit goals you set for yourself.

Pros

The people were great. Promotions happened quickly.

Cons

The company focuses too much on happy hours and drinking. You reach your maximum career growth very quickly.
