Pros
The culture at Brown Plus is great, and I think the firm really takes time to invest in the core values. This year they gave us the week of 4th of July off and closed the offices, and we get a number of days outside of our regular time off every year around the holidays. I think they are really trying to give life balance where they can because unfortunately we do have tax season hours, like every other firm, and so outside of that, they've been trying to give back time. But even in tax season, the managers are pretty flexible. There's also a work remotely policy so if you want to work a few days remotely or fully remote, you can do that.
We have a lot of fun events throughout the year. The last couple years, the firm has done a holiday party and paid for hotel rooms for people to spend the night if they want.
Cons
Busy season hours aren't great but that is the industry. I know the firm is trying to help with that.
