Cons
As someone who has been here for 10+ years, I have witnessed really terrible changes in which this one time caring organization has become overly fixated on money, over-hiring administrators and not enough clinical providers, extremely hierarchical, and disrespectful to the clinical providers and created an environment where no one can speak up because administrators do not value input and because HR is in the back-pocket of administrators. The administrators do not understand nor care about health care of patients. They also changed the health insurance of employees and medications that were previously covered are no longer covered, with many workers going without life-supporting, maintenance medications. Further, they make you go to their pharmacy (even if you do not live anywhere near their pharmacy) to get your medications or risk paying double- triple the price of meds. So now, the pharmacists who you may be calling into for your own patients, also knows your personal information and medications. But Brown health doesn't care because they now make money off the employees they employ and don't give them raises.
