Pros

Lots of good nurses to work with in the ER. Strong education department. Some great docs too. Everyone has their quirks, but generally the people who work in the East Campus ER are a good group.

Cons

Poor management, mandatory overtime. I felt like leadership just was not listening to the nurses and undermining their success. Also, there is no cardiac/telemetry monitor in the ER and they do not hold a code room so if someone comes in crashing expect to pull one patient (whether they are on isolation or not) into the hallway and create a makeshift code room. The pandemic made things worse for hospitals across the board, but these were my concerns.
