      Pros

      great co-workers on my shift, benefits were great using their facilities

      Cons

      too many managers of which there was a disconnect with employees, lots of passive aggressive managers which is frustrating, pay was a joke compared to similar sized hospitals in the area

      Pros

      A good place to gain some experience. They pay nurses fairly well.

      Cons

      Since there is now really only 2 hospitals left in Lincoln NE now ( Bryan or St. E's) that doesn't leave Lincolnites too many options. Recently Bryan/LGH became Bryan Health Systems. Since then they have become even more bottom line oriented. Their business practices leave much to be desired. No unions, and Nebraska is Work at Will state. Bryan employees are at the mercy of the management.

      Great Co-Workers, Positive work environment, flexible schedules, Competitive Pay and Benefits. Forward thinking Senior Management, Job Security. Employee forums with senior management. Hard work is rewarded

      Cons

      Affordable Health Care act is taking its toll on our benefits and raises. Have to work weekends usually. Shift work can be stressful. No merit raises. They pay poor workers the same as great workers. H.R can be soft on problematic personnel.
