Pros

great culture, friendly, communication is excellent

Cons

Very little room for advancement past Assitant Manager, there are not a lot of stores and the company is so great that no one ever wants to leave.

Pros

You do a lot more than the usual day to day retail activities. The work itself can be a lot of fun to help kids and keep people smiling.

Cons

The hours are ridiculous. One week you're working 8 the next you're working 40 and there is zero consistency.

Pros

Easy work for the most part. Stuffing a bear doesn't take to much effort.

Cons

The cons of any retail job. Terrible hours, work weekends and holidays, higher ups breathing down your neck about hours, etc. Making numbers and focusing on metrics is huge a BBW. I understand it is a business, but don't say your focused on the customer and then push so freaken much to sell so much crap. Everything is super corny. They embed the word "bear" into everything, which is both annoying and stupid. Ex. instead of territory, it's "bearitory."
