Pros

fun environment, fast paced, positive atmosphere, fun promotions, co workers were easy to get along with, lots of free t shirts

Cons

got cheesy after a while, kids vomitting, peeing, crying in the store, angry parents, obnoxious teenage lovebirds, birthday parties, having to dress up as the bear

Pros

Buildabear is a great job for people who love children. The management were, for the most part, very friendly and helpful. The company is always doing charitable events and giving back to the community.

Cons

There's no room for advancement and management was always picking favorites. I worked there during high school and quit because I had to move away for college. After graduating, I applied for a management position and never got a response. You would think that two years experience in the company and a college degree would be enough for this place, but obviously not.

Pros

It is a fun place to work if you love kids...They treat you with respect.

Cons

The store manager at this location, did not care if she had you work every night and weekend as long as she did not have too.
