Shiny exterior, rotting interior

Pros

Break room activities (foosball, darts, ping pong, video games), perks (free coffee, fruit, sometimes meals, and parties), some of the people are great too.

Cons

Rampant nepotism, worse than any other company I've worked at. Job postings that try to be cool, but really make the company look like a joke. Non-competitive wages, even for the area, especially when you factor in the lack of raises given out. Also I'd like to point out that even though they tout the whole "promotions from within" thing, 3 of the newest executives have come from outside of the company.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience here, I hope that you find meaningful employment elsewhere.

Pros

You have the direct ability to decide how much money you make. If you want to go somewhere in the company, you have all of the tools and resources to make that happen. I have little to no pity on the people who complain, gripe and consistently pout about their " lack-of " movement in the company. OPEN YOUR OWN DOORS, THEY DON'T OPEN THEMSELVES!

Cons

It can be a bit chatty, and word travels fast. Please though, let me raise the question: WHERE IN THE HELL ISN'T IT?

Pros

It's in Chico, which is a nice town. You're working indoors, AC in summer, heat in winter. Paychecks don't bounce.

Cons

Pay isn't that great. A lot of nepotism and cliques. If you want to advance be prepared to get your nose dirty. Also helps to be attractive. Parking situation sucks. Restroom situation isn't great either. Lack of transparency in hiring and advancement practices, as in some jobs have to follow some rules but then later it seems those rules don't have to be followed if the 'right' person is applying.
