Pros

Build.com promotes internally for individuals who work hard, demonstrate drive and try to innovate the company. Build is not your typical company where advancement happens after a specified number of years in certain positions. They also encourage innovation to happen at all levels of the company. Build is a great place to build a career and enjoy a fun small town like Chico

Cons

The company changes focus far too often to every have any clearly defined goals and objectives. What is the most important thing in the world one month will be trampled by the newest thing the following month. Part of it is due to the nature of the eCommerce industry. The company also does not really have a clear vision or objective. Everyone works to make Build more successful, but does so under the banner that their individual manager presents, rather then a unified company wide banner. We need to focus on a clear set of objectives together, and through that we can be successful.

Pros

Build.com has an overall fantastic company culture. The employees are treated well and listened to. I've never worked somewhere with so much opportunity for advancement.

Cons

With the quick growth and the pace at which things change, it can be particularly difficult to keep up on what's going on and stay current with opportunities in the company.
