Pros

Buildertrend is a solid SAAS company that is still led by the original founders. The leadership team truly cares about their employees and making a difference in the local community.

Cons

The company grew very fast, outpacing its ability to put the best processes and structures in place. They're making changes to improve things but went through a tough 2023 that included a round of layoffs.

Pros

casual dress at work is about the only pro. other then having a few friends that i knew prior.

Cons

cons. there are so many i do not know how i did not let these red flags leaving this company earlier. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING!!!! +**I constantly got lied to and Promoted into a fairly high position and always got promised I would get the job title but they would never officially give it to me or a raise after they assumed me into the role. This is because " we can not give you a official job title or raise because We did not want to get HR involved this is because you were best fit for the position and people will get mad if you got a new title and they didn't have a chance to interview for it" If this is not taking advantage of employees expertise and knowledge and work efforts i don't know what is... not the company you want to work at. **** **also zero work life balance. I would get made fun of at work or talked to by my manager when i would not want to go to a bar and drink with my coworkers after work or on the weekends. the weekends and after work are for my friends and family. Work events are different, i would always attend those. one time a higher up sitting behind me was making fun of me in the middle of the work place for not going out drinking, and this was due to my dad having cancer surgery, so then instead of getting embarrassed in office i then had to explain out loud to the 20+ people sitting around me that my dad had cancer and he had surgery and i had to be with my family. work life balance my a@@. PTO is not work life balance.***** there moto is embrace the pace...... this means they really only care about making you feel forced to call to make 220 calls a day. all they care about is volume and not quality and quantity. the only manageable position in the company is a CSS role. always changing work flows up then changing them back. The lack of direct communication from upper management is horrible. They make it seem like they are communicating with you but they are truly snaking behind your back. I could write a whole book on how bad this company is. just go look at their reviews from their customers. from all their racist comments towards Hispanics to them causing scenes at airports. to the Drinking all day at work and bragging about it. and the upper management walking around with open cans of beers. all they truly care about is themselves. ill leave it at that. to any future people wanting to work here. please save yourself and apply to a real company.
