Solid Team, still lots of room for growth

Pros

Fun team, little bit fratty at times but that comes with the territory, if you're not totally antisocial you'll make friends and fit in well. Workload isn't bad at all, flexible wfh and pto options. Salary is average and realpage benefits kinda blow, the real draw is that you can move up the ladder and grow your career fast. In sales you can go from entry level making 35k to SC making 100k in about a year. Its a great place to get going and find what you're good at, and have a good time doing it.

Cons

Realpage is meh and the acquisition is still being ironed out, processes are a little screwy but getting under control. Their benefits blow compared to what they were when Buildium was independent I wont sugarcoat it.

Pros

-At least when I started in 2019, there was plenty of growth opportunity. If you worked hard and expressed a desire to move up or around the organization, leadership would work with you. -Friendly, helpful, and super smart co-workers who will stop what they are doing to ensure you are supported. I met quite a few friends at Buildium who I continue to keep in touch with. -Caring management. Never once did I feel micro-managed or that my voice didn't matter. Any feedback was taken seriously and run "up the chain". It often felt that my manager was working for me, and not the other way around. -Cool office space in a central location in downtown Boston

Cons

-Pay is not competitive . -Buildium was acquired in late 2019 . Then RealPage was acquired a little over a year later. Future is uncertain. -Breakable product. Buildium has a lot of different features that can be hard to really understand. Accounting is a big one, as customers often have scrappy bookkeeping. This can lead to a number of frustrations. Electronic payments work most of the time but can lead to a big headache if it malfunctions. Client based becomes very stressed out. Must have empathy.

RealPage will be the death of Buildium

Pros

nothing anymore. Realpage and property ware are dragging the team down

Cons

RealPage has terrible antiquated systems Buildium expected to understand the PropertyWare platform after having 2 scrappy learning sessions. They also think they're our higher ups for whatever reason when were the better platform and bring in more money :) Buildium reports growth each month.. but the sales team on average hits 60% of the individual goals. Riddle me that one
