Pros

-- Occasionally, some pretty amazing people sneak through the recruitment process -- Pizza Wednesday's and Bagel Friday's

Cons

-- Those amazing people, often don't last longer than a year. -- Getting pizza and bagels, instead of your bonus. It doesn't take long to realize that the "Core Values" toted by the company (Ownership, Edge, Energy, Service) are little more than lip service. The folks who truly demonstrate those qualities quickly find themselves ostracized by the brat pack of "lifers". Those with talent leave (because they can), while the remaining crew of "good old boys" and "sorority girls" are promoted into positions they are simply not qualified for and would never be offered elsewhere.

Pros

Free lunch on wednesdays, Free breakfast on fridays, free coffee everyday. Great location, close to transportation when i started they were headed in the right direction with the business.

Cons

Business lacks any real direction. The core product that pays everyones salary gets zero attention, and the senior brass is to busy trying to implement every new software movement that hits a google group posting, rather than evaluating what the problems are and what could be used to solve them. A few suggestions. - If you aren't a cold fusion guru, you should probably stay home and collect cans. - If you have previous real world experience, and want to bring that with you to help, decline the job offer. - Do not encourage friends or former co workers to work with you. - Do not plan on having a personal life - Give your two weeks notice and then take a two week vacation... more productive.

Pros

Market leader in its space with a comprehensive suite of solutions, making it an exciting place to work as the company continues to evolve and grow. What I like: 1) Transparent company townhalls - the townhalls are thoughtfully planned and thoroughly presented, Not just high-level overviews but detailed insights. This approach helps us understand the bigger picture and make significant progress. 2) Career growth opportunities - Bullhorn is really a place for those who want to advance their careers and expand their skill sets. This is evident across the teams, with many employees moving up from junior roles to more senior positions. 3) Doing the right thing - while Bullhorn doesn't always get everything right, it’s clear that they care about any missteps and make strides to correct them. There’s a strong willingness to listen, learn, and pivot when necessary. 4) People - last but not least. The people are great and help you level up. There seems to be an unwritten rule or baton being passed down the waves of new employees coming through where everyone looks to support one another.

Cons

Consistent customer focus across departments. I've struggled with this at times but think we've turned a corner where people are on the same page as me when I am advocating for a customer in pain.
