Pros

I loved walking into the St. Louis office everyday because of the dynamic culture and the people. I found the executives to be transparent and realistic. HR and the CEO have a true passion for taking care of people in a positive and unique way. They have excellent benefits, great career paths for entry level individuals, and people move up and into new departments on a regular basis. The only reason I left Bullhorn was because of a specific career path that wasn't available for me but I would rejoin the company in the future. It is the best company I have worked for and I will continue to watch from afar while wishing my friends success.

Cons

I don't have a true "con" with Bullhorn. I agree the company has growing pains. That was exciting for me though because I was part of building. I was able to create solutions to hard problems and help create a positive experience for clients, employees, etc... The company is built for people that have drive and passion. If someone wants to come to work to just collect a paycheck, it probably isn't for them.

Pros

The department I worked in had a good team who were very smart and dedicated.

Cons

Upper management has no idea what is going on. The product is very antiquated and has many issues from both from an engineering and back end systems design. The systems cannot scale very well and is constantly having issues causing emergencies. Ops and Engineers don't play well together, both blame each other when in truth it seems to be management pushing forward instead of spending time on designing things right and working to make things stable.

I'm taken aback by this post. Some of this crticism might have been true 4 years ago, but we've worked really hard to create a great collaboration between dev, support and ops and the results have been really dramatic. Both our uptime and customer satisfaction scores have been off the charts as a result. Maybe I'm missing something. If so, please let me know.

Pros

Nice facility, great co-workers. Decent pay. Good fringes.

Cons

Sadly only point of view is that of young white males. A couple women in higher management but they are more tokens than serious leaders. Women over 40 will not be heard or seen.

I am concerned that you feel that only young white males are making decisions. Bullhorn's leadership team is 1/3 women - each of us is an active participant around the executive table. As an aside, 40% of our CEO's direct reports are women! Diversity across the company is a focus and there is always room to improve. Let's set up some time to discuss your concerns.
