Pros

Tough selection process. Deeply technical and extensive training. Enlightened Executive and middle management style which gets the best out of people. Marketing led offering, combined with the best product in the sector, means this, for me, was a great decision.

Cons

Very few! Could probably look at developing the benefits package with regard to pension contributions.

Pros

Bullhorn has had double digit growth every year I have been here and that has brought tremendous opportunity to internal employees. For those up for new challenges there are always more opportunities and roles to conquer. Additionally Bullhorn has built a tremendously fun culture that has kept internal politics and self interests at a minimum while growing to 500+ people.

Cons

With growth you have change. You just need to be ready to always reinvent and find ways to do things more efficient and in a way that provides a better customer experience. You can not expect to just show up and do your job the same way every day.

It can be hard to put into words what you have captured here, and I love how you presented it! The lack of politics and self-interest makes for our collaborative culture, and the ability/need to reinvent ties into that. Thanks so much for your review!

Pros

Great culture and mostly great people to work with. Are somewhat flexible with working from home.

Cons

Company is growing fast but doesn't seem able to support its growth. A lot of departments are understaffed while the company is focusing on making more $$$ in hopes of going public that they neglect roles that are not bringing in revenue. They take a reactive approach with customers and function like a start up rather than like the 500 employee company that they are. Executive Management is too involved directly with clients and bottom line decisions when they should be giving their employees more autonomy and authority to make these decisions. Annual reviews and career progressions are basically a joke here, standard raises are about 3% and promotions about 5%, bonuses average about 7-10%. In terms of job growth you'd have to leave the company if you're ambitious at all. Departments are not willing to develop and train current employees to grow within the company and take on new roles.
