Pros
Honestly, Bullhorn is the BEST company I've ever worked for. I applied because of the Be Human core value, and they actually take it seriously here. I do not have children, but it's okay if kids pop up in a zoom call. Management ACTUALLY wants you to have a good work/life balance.
When I first got hired, my Manager asked me how I like to be managed. What were my motivators and demotivators? Eight months in, she still follows it. She tailors her management style to the individual employee.
I was able to get the Education & Learning Chair position for the Pride ERG. The company takes all of our ERGs seriously, and you get an annual bonus if you are an ERG committee member.
Bullhorn takes DEI seriously. They actually look at you as a person. We are a very diverse workforce. I thrive in diverse environments, and it is a breath of fresh air to actually see it in tech.
There is a real commitment to maintaining a healthy, nontoxic work environment. From the CEO on down to us individual contributors. That is one of the things that impresses me the most.
There are opportunities for career advancement. There are various levels of development programs offered from Bullhorn to its employees. We are given opportunities to do things that we have never done before, and we are set up for success to do it!
Bullhorn actually sets its employees up for success. My first day was 9/11/23, and they gave me enough time to truly learn the product I'm supporting! I did not get my first clients until November 2023. They give you the time to properly ramp up. How amazing is that?!
You don't have to get things done alone. Everyone is always eager to help.
The Bullhorn Recruitment Team and Hiring Managers really put in the hard work to hire people who not only care about what they do, care about the clients, but also people who are the right personality fit. Everyone is so kind and accepting of different people.
All in all, if I have one adjective to describe how Bullhorn operates internally and externally, that adjective would be: thoughtful.
Cons
The cons are minimal. The interview process was long, but worth it. I understand why it's a long process.
