Pros

Lots of time off if you need it

Cons

Salary is not comparable to other retail outlets of the same type. Management does not support the employee and is out to protect their own self. If you are looking for upward mobility, this is not the place to go. If you are looking for a part time job while in school or retired for extra cash..then this is for you.

Pros

- I recieve many hours working there. - I already got a promotion and two raises since I've been working there (a year ago). - The pay period is every week, which is great compared to every two weeks. - Most areas are well-organized. - It is a very independent based job. - There is always something to do. - Everyone is friends and there is a good atmosphere.

Cons

- If you are closing and your department is completely finished, you are not allowed to go home - you have to go help another department who has its own workers who couldn't get it done on their own. It's their job and I believe they should do it themselves. - They recently changed the dress code but do not provide it to you, you must buy it. And it is not even available at Burlington - you have to search elsewhere and spend your own earnings on a stupid outfit. - There is no communication between the managers. - The registers and other things I work with are very outdated and could be brought up to date and modernized. - If a customer is in the wrong, and you are sticking up for the good of the company, a manager will put the company completely aside and do anything for the customer. Very annoying. - Loss Prevention sucks! There is only one guy and he's hardly ever there. I watch people taking things and cannot say anything to them since he is not there. Managers say they can't do anything anyway. REDICULOUS.

Pros

The flexible schedule was nice for someone who had outside interest, as long as it didn't conflict with busy seasons Learned how NOT to be from Upper Management; outside of the stores. The internal store management was generally very good. But District and higher needed to go through professional and intergrity modification classes.

Cons

Lack of consistentcy of standards and more importantly communications of the expectations. Workload Lack of work & life balance expectations Respect equally given from District Management No support
