Our promotions are based on competency frameworks, through which we assess with suitability for progression. Promotions at manager level are managed through an interview process, exploring suitability and competence. As a global organisation the need to work remotely is inevitable and have promoted the use of platforms such as Skype to enable our employees to work in an agile manner. Collaboration is key, it is disappointing to hear this was not your experience so once again we will take this back and review the unintended consequences of this form of communication.
