      Pros

      High profile and complicated projects Passionate Engineers, some of them real gems Good exposure to work across a different spectrum of projects 40 year old company, so has a brand value

      Cons

      Western and Local /Asian employees not treated equally Big pay difference between local/Asians and Westerners Lack of focus / attention to detail on bidding Tendency to pick up only complicated work resulting in big losses Lack of commitment from the stake holders responsible for the success of the region Too many partners in Middle East and too less in Asia Pay review process and salary banding exercise on paper looks organised, but in fact is way off the market Design teams do not get a lot of support from partners/directors

      Good Company, prestige projects, good for career development

      Pros

      Very posh projects, advanced techniques of design, well known company, access to many engineers with specialist knowledge

      Cons

      Location - Bath (expensive to live), average money, no car - just allowance for associated, very high level of people leaving the company due to financial aspect

      Great projects and great people

      Pros

      Projects are very interesting and generally well run. Good team connectivity. A genuine interest in seeing staff develop and remain in the company. Good over all packages.

      Cons

      Take home pay is not great, but over all package is good.
