      Great company where you can really learn and develop your career

      Pros

      BH has a reasonably flat structure so you get access to leaders of the business and international colleagues quite readily which is great for networking and informal mentoring, this also means that you can be given exposure to great projects from an early stage and gain a lot of useful experience very quickly, working on a mixture of international and local projects. There is a nice culture at BH, laid back but driven at the same time. People are given the freedom to work autonomously and with others and to be creative and curious in their roles.

      Cons

      BH doesn't always get it quite right (which company does) but it does care about its people and is passionate about design excellence and working on the best projects and that means having the best people.

      Very interesting projects and excellent support from management. Opportunities to work on the best projects In the U.K. and world. Strong culture of personal development and very social workplace

      Cons

      Pay could be more competitive, but at a senior level it appears to be equal or better to industry standard.

      Pros

      BuroHappold offers a genuine environment for free thinking. This isn't reserved solely for the Engineering Fraternity, ideas are welcomed whatever your role within the business. Engaging projects for all to relate to. Meaningful work provides a collective sense of pride across the business. An energetic and inspiring CEO provides clear direction. Embraces change.

      Cons

      Can feel a little unstructured to some but that's how the creativity is nurtured. Won't feel corporate enough for some. Can feel like a lot of change happens at once, but it's how the business remains sufficiently agile.
