Cons

The partnership structure is in deep need of a revamp.

Good if you’re an engineer (sometimes)

Friendly community, good offices, good facilities

Cons

‘Old boys club’ mentality still restricting anyone who isn’t white and male from succeeding without considerable burnout. Lack of respect for non engineering staff.

Identifying behaviours which are contrary to inclusion is something we take seriously. We believe respect in the workplace is key. Since this review all senior managers/directors and line managers have participated in our inclusive behaviour workshops as fostering a culture of respect and inclusion is important to us. Great Company, great projects

Pros

Get to work with a lot of really intelligent people. Everyone is really friendly across the company. People are welcoming and open to new ideas which makes for great opportunity for multi-discipline projects. This provides excellent opportunities for brainstorming and learning from others leaders in their relevant fields within the built environment. Great corporate culture, employees are well looked after with good amenities and a company that is keen on employee welfare, be that at home or in the workplace. A lot of great projects that are really impactful and have high public profiles.

Cons

This is probably the same in most of the engineering sector but some of the projects can feel less "impactful" and can become a bit repetitive.
