Pros

Good insurance Good pay (I was there for several years, pay has changed for new comers) Helpful team members and supervisors 1 hr break (unless there’s hundreds of voicemails, then they’ll cut you’re break to 30 min)

Cons

The call center doesn’t get any attention from the company’s higher ups therefore, issues continue to occur until a caller reaches one of the higher ups. Ridiculously high call volume The supervisor call back was so full that people would be calling over and over There were jurisdictions/county’s that did not have a guidelines for requesting court so when a caller would ask, we would have to tell them to look it up them selves. People did not handle this well. There are also lots of mistakes with the citations and people will yell at the agents, curse at them.etc because of this, yet nothing is done to help the call center and their agents aka the face of the company

Pros

-Great pay Great benefits -Really amazing supervisors that are easy to work with -A company that is constantly upgrading/updating their systems to make them easier to work with, which is actually pretty rare in niche applications like surveillance systems. -You will be encouraged by everyone, including management, to clock at least 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, no exceptions, while on the schedule, which leads to wonderful work/life balance while working on the service/maintenance side of things. -actually reimburse people for mileage and gas and stuff, which a lot of places like this tend to just pay lip service to

Cons

-They try to hire a mix of automotive people and IT/low voltage people, this can lead to personality clashes -Their screening process could use some work as I worked with quite a few people who were openly advocating for lying to avoid COVID vaccines. Same people were also advocating for certain ideologies that are insanely toxic, and all of these guys they hired are around children and schools all day, not great -Their BYOD and Salesforce field management systems are breeding grounds for micromanagement. Didn't happen while I was there, but the potential is extremely high. -There is clear evidence of misconduct/malfeasance at the executive level which has led to misuse of funds and rental cars, and the CEO to resign within a month of me being hired. -The biggest issue is the workload is immense and can easily lead to labor burnout. You will end up working easily 130 hours or even more when you go to the Academy in Chantilly, and out in the field isn't much better. Admittedly there isn't much that can be done about the last bit, but it leads to extremely high turnover and most techs to burn out between one year and 18 months. -You will be traveling to all service and install locations in your own personal vehicle. You will put thousands of extra miles on your vehicle by doing this. You might even be able to barely pay for the repairs and maintenance this causes you to need, thanks to how much you're getting paid, but you could've also spent that money on anything else and actually enjoyed yourself. Sometimes you can alleviate this by requesting a hotel for the duration of the project, but now you're stuck in Allentown, PA Sunday-Sunday.

Thanks for taking the time to write this review. We recognize that the work done by our Field Service Teams is critical and demanding, and we work to continuously improve how we do things. Importantly, if you are aware of company policies not being followed, this should be reported to the People team.
