Pros

The people that work at Businessolver are some of the best I've worked with in my 17+ year career. The culture is also a true learning and growth culture that strives to create psychological safety to help each employee continually grow and level up. Leadership is also very progressive and have made employee-centric changes to the culture over the last 3 -4 years, including going fully remote, employee-lead DEI efforts with senior leadership support to drive change, and a focus on more diverse recruitment efforts. The company isn't afraid of change as long as it's in the name of improvement and despite our size can still move pretty quickly with change, due to the culture of change it's instilled with employees. Additionally, the organization has invested significant resources into leadership development the past several years, which is something I, and many other leader peers, highly value.

Cons

As with any organization, the team/role you are in can also impact an ability to maintain balance and stress. That said, it's more a function of the work in the role, as leadership does put a lot of effort into supporting their people and helping them balance even in the face of a high workload. In these higher work load roles, leadership continually looks for ways to improve the employee experience, which signals a true desire to help employees.

Pros

Good team and leadership. They are in tune with creating a good environment for employees.

Cons

Pay is not too competitive. Yearly raises are inadequate at 1 - 3% and don't keep up with inflation or market rates.

Thank you for your feedback. In regards to pay, while the “cost of living” and its fluctuations are economic dynamics we are conscious of, “cost of labor” is what is used in compensation strategy and philosophy due to its direct correlation to how organizations evaluate compensation when hiring and retaining talent. Cost of living measures differences in the price of goods and services, and allows for substitutions to other items as prices increase and decrease. When analyzing pay, cost of labor is used because this is what determines competitiveness relative to a particular role. Quality of life choices are not the drivers of market pay rates. The classic example is "sunshine dollars" or less pay for working in better climates, such as California. Since we are a fully remote organization and our employees can live anywhere thanks to Workplace Anywhere, the cost of labor provides the consistent data needed to respond to the demand for talent in our industry.
